Impact Update: Romania 2025 — Join Us in What’s Next
How Hope Grows
-
Dream it.
3Fold began as a dream shared by two friends from Tennessee and Georgia who believed that education & hope could break cycles of poverty in Romania. What started as a simple vision has become a growing movement of hope.
-
Build it.
In year one of the Pathways to Hope Project, that dream became reality. With a full-time teacher, Cezar Boica, leading tutoring and mentorship, students have taken tangible steps forward in their education. Meals, encouragement, and rewards like new shoes and supplies reminded them that their futures matter.
-
Grow it.
Now, we are inviting others to dream with us. Through partnerships with like-minded groups such as Silverdale Baptist and new friends across the U.S., we’re expanding opportunities for students in Hosman. The story is only beginning.
From Romania: A Story of Hope and Possibility
This summer, our team had the privilege of engaging with students through Vacation Bible School and art camps. We sang, played, painted, and shared meals together. Those simple moments — laughter during a game, pride in a painting, joy in hearing their stories — reminded us why Pathways to Hope exists: to nurture the whole child, not just their education.
But this trip was also about something bigger. We were joined by a team from Silverdale Baptist Church, who came alongside us to serve the children and families of Hosman and Sibiu. Their presence reinforced what we’ve believed since the beginning — this mission doesn’t rest on the shoulders of one organization alone. It grows when more people bring their gifts, their time, and their hearts to the work.
Together, we saw new possibilities emerge: expanding Pathways to include more students, creating new opportunities for mentorship, and strengthening family support. These ideas weren’t born in a planning session — they were kindled in real moments with children, with paintbrushes and songs in hand, with the presence of partners who shared the same heartbeat for hope.

New Relationships, New Opportunities
While this trip allowed us to celebrate what Pathways to Hope has accomplished in its first year, it also reminded us that growth often comes through the people God places in our path.
In Hosman and Sibiu, we met Adi and Anca, two leaders whose passion for their community and heart for children resonated deeply with our mission. Through conversations, shared meals, and time together in ministry, it became clear that they are not only partners in the work but catalysts for what comes next.
These new relationships are sparking fresh opportunities:
Expanding after-school support beyond our current group of students.
Exploring additional mentorship and discipleship opportunities led by local leaders.
Building bridges between 3Fold, local churches, and community leaders who share a vision for breaking cycles of poverty.
The trip showed us that programs create structure, but people create movement. By joining hearts and hands with partners like Adi and Anca, the dream we once imagined is growing into something bigger than ourselves — a sustainable future of hope for children and families in Romania.
Building on the Foundation
Our time in Romania reminded us of something simple but profound: programs give structure, but people give life. For the past year, Cezar has faithfully carried Pathways to Hope forward, pouring into students through tutoring, mentoring, and encouragement. His dedication has given this program both credibility and heart.
Now, new relationships with Adi and Anca are opening the door for even greater impact. Their love for children, commitment to their community, and desire to see hope flourish in Hosman and Sibiu make them natural partners to augment the foundation Cezar has built. Together, their combined efforts will strengthen and expand the reach of this work.
The next step is clear: helping Adi and Anca step fully into this calling while continuing to support and resource the vital work Cezar leads every day.
This is our ask, and our hopeful cheer:
👉 Will you join us in empowering this team of leaders — Cezar, Adi, and Anca — to carry this mission forward together?
With your partnership, we can ensure that what began as a dream is now sustained and multiplied through local leaders who will nurture it, grow it, and see it flourish for years to come.
Be part of the story. Be part of the hope.
From Romania: A Story of Hope and Possibility
During our 2025 trip, our team had the joy of spending time directly with the children and families we serve. We joined students in Vacation Bible School sessions, where they sang, played, and learned stories of faith. We saw creativity come alive in art camps, as children painted and crafted with pride — their laughter filling the room with energy.
These moments reminded us that the Pathways to Hope Project is more than tutoring; it’s about nurturing the whole child. From lessons to play, from art to encouragement, the relationships built this summer deepened the sense of belonging and hope.
Being with the students face-to-face also gave us a clearer vision for the future. We saw the need for expanded learning opportunities, consistent mentorship, and greater family support. We also recognized how partnerships with churches and community groups could multiply the reach and sustainability of this work.
